Thing 8: RSS Feeds

I use RSS Feeds and have a News Gator account. I now have a Bloglines account which I think is much better. I really like the way you can add feeds very easily. I subscribed to the Shifted Librarian, Librarybytes, Unshelved plus 3 staff's blog from other counties. It's going to be great reading all these feeds.

Thing 7: Digital Camera

I have a great Cannon PowerShot Digital camera. I love taking pictures. We have greyhounds and we travel a lot with them to different greyhound events. So, there I am, taking lots of pictures of dogs and people. Now since I have my flickr account, I can now upload them all there and share my pictures with the world.

Thing 6 : Flickr mashups & 3rd party sites.

I tried out the different sites for flickr mashups. I really see no point in this and I could care less about this part.

Thing 5: Flickr Fun

Flickr is fun. I use it and love looking around for other peoples pictures. Here is a picture I downloaded. It is a Baseball display we had up at Central.

Thing 2: 7 1/2 Habits of Lifelong Learners

Lifelong learning, a great concept. I believe to follow a lot of these habits. Have confidence, take responsibility and have goals for your learning. I think that we all learn everyday whether it is on the job, with family or friends. The best part of this section was Play. I have notice that we all don't Play enough. Everyone is working so much, wrapped up in their careers, that I believe that they are missing the true meaning of why we are here. To Play and interact with each other. I have seen many people so stressed over their job, that it effects their health. We all need to Play more. Play and enjoy blogging and all the rest of the things we are learning with this training.
